Camping with Daddy

Who could think of anything better for a bunch of boys? Tents, sleeping bags, flashlights, campfire, canoeing, zip lining, bow and arrows, and no showers!!! Yup that is what camping is all about with Adventure Guides.  Daddy took the boys this past weekend and had a blast.  Colby was able to go last year and this year Dylan was old enough to join in on the fun.

Leading up to the weekend Dylan was very nervous about the idea of camping/living outdoors for a few days.  He would ask questions everyday like "mommy, can raccoons or bears get into my tent?", "will I be sleeping alone?", "where do we go to the bathroom or brush our teeth?", "what if I don't want to go zip lining", "how and what will we eat?", and many more that I cant think of.  With the encouraging words from mommy, daddy, and Colby he was counting the days down til they left.

From the looks of it they seemed to have a great time.

The sleeping quarters

Not positive what he is eating but if I had to guess its a Smore

Good Morning Colby

Ready to Zip Line...

Up the rope they will go

Cant believe they are climbing this net

Impressive

Just about to go

All ready...his face doesn't look so sure

Will they do it???

Off and ready to go again

Concentrating hard...see the tongue

Getting the shot just perfect

Love his expression

Nice shot Colby!!!

Getting ready

Not sure if he missed all together or just wanted a picture by the target prior to shooting

Look out!!!

Daddy and his boys

Rock climbing

Colby's favorite from last year

Out they go all by themselves ;-)

Doesn't look like they have made it far

Dry land :-) think daddy must have finally gotten in a they sailed away

Round 2 Zip Line

He loved it!!!
Daddy joined in this time....he said it was a bit scary

There is a story behind this last picture....so day #1 Colby and Dylan go zip lining. Colby said it was a little scary and Dylan said it wasn't at all.  They go again and again.  By the 5th time Daddy ask Dylan why his pants are wet and Dylan said "I think it was a little bit scary".  He thought it was so funny that he actually wet his pants! This kid is hilarious.

The camping trip was a huge success and I believe not only will they want to go back next year they may even talk daddy into going camping sooner.

One Busy Little Tooth Fairy

Colby has lost 2 teeth within 2 days!!  He pulled one out yesterday afternoon and the Tooth Fairy came with $1.50 + 9 M&M's!! Poor little thing didn't even get to rest between visits to our house and she will or should be making another appearance tonight! Colby pulled out another tooth today.  He is missing 3 top teeth.  I am guessing his theme song for the holidays will be "All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth"!

You may wonder why he put 2 M&M's (his tooth is above the green M&M) in the box with his tooth....well he said he wanted to Thank her for the M&M's he got last night.  I asked why only 2? He said "because she is really little and I don't want her to get full".  Love it!!!

Family Photo Session

Another great shoot from Brittani! We were supposed to have a sunrise session but when we scheduled this I forgot about the time change.  Wasn't sure I was up for getting four kids ready and at the beach by 6 am! That will just have to wait til the spring.  Our awesome photographer always has back ups in mind and we decided to go to Ft Caroline National Park.  Besides the grass being very wet and Abby wanting to run through it, which made her boots look dirty, the pictures turned out cute.  Thankfully we got some good ones of Blake because he had no desire to sit with his siblings nor did he want anyone holding his hand....we wont mention who he takes after in this family :-)

I know there is a lot of them but with 6 people some of us are showing our characteristics a bit more than others certain pictures.  Good thing is we just laughed and told them "one day you look back at these pictures and ask why you were crying or why you were not smiling or why was I not in this or that picture".  Thank you Brittany for being so patient!!

Fun times

Just another cute picture of my kids having fun together!!  Abby loves to play with Blake! She said they were in a boat then they were on their way to go shopping...a girl after her own mommy's heart!!!

Paybacks are so fun :-)

A few weeks ago Abby went to play at her best friends Ryleigh's house.  Now Ryleigh's parents, unfortunately, are Gaytor fans and they decided it would be cute to dress Abby in orange and blue.  They even got her to the gator chomp and took pictures!!  We were mortified!! As a nice gesture we dressed Ryliegh up in a FSU jersey and taught her that maroon and gold were much better colors along with the Tomahawk Chop!!  She looked so cute...in our opinion :-). Good thing we love the Repass's and they love us!!

Its funny, I cant seem to find the pictures they sent of Abby in those horrific other colors ;-)!!!
