We celebrated a day early this year...Grady and I will be saving lives while everyone else is stuffing their faces :-). Its so nice to have a retired Grammy and Pop Pop, Daddy who can take time off work, and kids who either had no school today or are home schooled so that we could still be together for the holiday.
Scott pulled out three very delicious turkeys and as a team the rest of us provided the sides. Before we sat to fill our bellies we took turns telling everyone what we were thankful for. Here was a few that really stuck out in my mind....Freedom, Choices, our Military, and of course the best one was from my hubby...he is thankful for a wonderful wife who is loving, a great teacher, and does such a good job at keeping this house together. As I do appreciate him saying that the world needs to know that I couldn't do it without him. For us and our family to work we have to be a team and that is what we are!
After gorging ourselves it was time for some Taboo. Boys vs girls......the winner was.....THE GIRLS!!! We Rock :-)!
It was a great day and we all are so very blessed!! Love my family!!!
