We were so excited to have the kids meet Blake for the first time. Colby and Dylan have been asking for months how many more days til the baby comes. Rumor had it that Colby had been smiling from ear to ear telling every one in the neighborhood that mommy had another baby and his name was Blake. So sweet that they were as excited as they were. When they entered the room we got our usual "Mommy" "Daddy" excitement but it didn't take long for them to ask where Baby Blake was. Abby just kept saying "baby" and pointing at him. After hands were washed and lathered in antibacterial lotion they were good to go.
Colby couldn't stop holding Blake, Dylan needed some time, and Abby kept saying "eye" and poking Blake in the eye :-)! The room I was in had a great view of the train tracks and the kids wanted Baby Blake to come over to the window to see the trains that kept passing by. Amazing how much they loved him instantly!
