Bringing Blake Home

One last heel prick for Blake and we finally got to go home.  Thankfully all his lab work came back normal but he did lose a little more weight than his pediatrician liked so they asked we come back within 2 days to be sure he was gaining weight back progressively.

So excited to get into my own bed, my own shower and see my other babies! The kids, especially the boys, are thrilled to finally have Blake come home. I am sure my mother is thrilled too :-) she has been with them since Sunday morning. Scott did go home yesterday after lunch and spent the night at home with the kids. We thought it may be good for them to have some normalcy back onto their life.
We were welcomed home with a sign that Grammy, Colby, & Dylan made that said "Welcome Home Blake" with stickers all over it and balloons attached. Grammy said that Colby asked her to write "Blake you will be safe here". So sweet that he is already so loving to him and we haven't even made it home.

Officially being released

Little man in BIG car seat!

Colby, Dylan, & Abby wanted to be sure Blake felt protected

Since Blake's Raccoon has not arrived the kids shared their
Puppy, Monka, and Raff with him

Although I know that the coming up days are going to be challenging with homeschooling and a newborn and trying to function somewhat at a normal level Blake is going to be such a blessing to our family.
