Round 2 - Kids come to see Baby Blake

The kids were pretty excited about Baby Blake and couldn't wait for mommy & daddy to get home with him.  Unfortunately,  we didn't get to come home on Monday like we were hoping.  Blake was born Coombs + which has to do with him being A+ and me being O+ which the 2 blood types do not mix.  With this it was critical for his bilirubin to be watched for the first 48 hours.  If he wasn't shedding off the red blood cells quick enough he could turn jaundice.  The next step would have been light therapy.  For some reason the bilirubin levels for a Coombs + patient is much lower than a regular baby with jaundice.  Thankfully his levels stayed low enough for him not to have to have light therapy or have continuous check ups for the first week.  So Grammy brought the kids back to the hospital to see their new baby brother.

Here Baby Blake this one is for you!

Dylan finally warmed up to Baby Blake and
wanted to hold him all by himself!

Colby loving on his baby brother...so sweet!

Wow we are a fmaily of 6!!!
